Bible Tree Privacy Policy
A mobile app that lays out the genealogies, the twelve tribes, and the major figures recorded in the Bible. This policy applies to this app only. The company privacy policy applies to the Duolabs website and other services.
Article 1. Personal Data Collected
Duolabs does not directly collect personal data through this app or retain it on company servers.
Article 2. Communication Leaving the Device
The Company does not collect personal data, but the app communicates with the services below in order to function. The following information may reach those services in the process.
- Expo EAS Update (expo.dev/privacy)
Information sent: Network information such as IP address, operating system, Expo project ID, a randomized installation token used to determine update downloads, and update request or error information
Purpose: Used to check for and download updates compatible with the current app version when the app opens. This app keeps expanding its genealogy content, so the material is refreshed without a new store release. Expo processes this information under its policy. Duolabs does not link it to a user account or advertising profile.
Article 3. Things to Note
- There is no account, login, or sign-up. No information that could identify a user is created.
- No usage analytics tools are included. There are no advertisements, push notifications, payments, or social logins.
- Genealogy, tribe, figure, and feast data ships inside the app, so viewing it requires no communication with our servers.
- The app does not reproduce Bible text. It shows only book, chapter, and verse numbers; all explanations are written by us.
- Sharing through “Tell a friend” sends only a one-line app description and the store link. It carries none of your information.
- Camera, microphone, contacts, location, and storage permissions are blocked in the app configuration. The app requests no permissions.
- Android auto backup is disabled. iOS system backup follows your settings and Apple's policy.
Article 4. Destruction of Personal Data
The only things stored on your device are your appearance preference (light or dark) and the items you have marked. You can remove them with “Clear everything” under “Stored on this device” in Settings, or by deleting the app. Duolabs keeps no separate copy.
Article 5. Your Rights
This app retains no information that could identify a user, so there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about this policy or the app's handling of data, you may contact us below.
