Brand promotion app

We took part in screen development for the promotion app of a cereal brand that helps with weight management. The app carried meal planning and goal tracking, making it a brand marketing channel that combined product promotion with a lifestyle service. In a marketing app, customers leave wherever product information and participation content break apart, so the weight was on making the two connect naturally. The work covered content screens, user input, and screen transitions.

A weight-management campaign app with meal planning and goal tracking

This app was released by a cereal brand aimed at consumers who want to manage their weight, to draw them into its campaign. It carried meal planning and goal tracking, offering product promotion and a lifestyle service together. The campaign app the same brand released abroad was likewise built around a fixed-period meal plan, daily and weekly menus, progress tracking and a shopping list. Our part in this app was implementing screens that follow the campaign flow.

Screens that move from product information to participation content without a break

A campaign app has to show product information and then take customers into participation content. We developed the screens so the two do not look like separate menus but follow on from each other naturally. Because it is a marketing app, the brand image and the flow of use were considered together.

Input and screen transitions that follow the campaign's order

In a participation campaign app, the screens where customers enter things themselves sit at the center of the campaign. We implemented content screens, user input, and screen transitions in the order the campaign set. Input screens were placed in the same flow as the content screens so that customers stay on the campaign's path.

The starting point for all the mobile app work that followed

This app was the first mobile app project, started with the employer's support at a time when web screen development was the main job. App structure, the screen lifecycle, and how screens are composed were learned on a real project. The work that followed has centered on mobile apps.
